Neuropsychological Assessment

Neuropsychological Assessment looks at relationship between the human brain and behaviour. Research shows that it is based upon the dynamic location of functions, with the aim of investigating higher cortical functions, such as attention, memory, language, among others (Costa et al., 2004). Neuropsychological assessment correlates test findings with the neurological/behavioral disorder and establish which part of the brain is likely to be involved (Costa et al., 2004).

This comprehensive assessment helps to pinpoint which areas of your child’s brain may be affected and includes recommendations on how to best help with potential problems in the future.
